INDIANAPOLIS — When tornadoes ripped through Kokomo in 2016, they not only ripped apart lives but their homes as well. Left behind in the rubble were several priceless possessions that an Indianapolis woman is trying to return to their rightful owner.

When Crystal Bray answered the call to help her friends gather what they could from their devastated apartment complex, she drove to Kokomo, and while there quickly started helping as many evacuating residents as they could.

MARION, Ohio (WCMH) — The Marion Police Department is asking for help locating a man reported missing for nearly a month.

Christopher M. Ballard, 38, was last seen in Marion on Nov. 17.

Christopher is a white male, approximately 6-feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Marion Police investigators said they have checked numerous leads into Christopher’s whereabouts, but so far, have not been able to locate him.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Marion Police at 740-387-2525.

Indiana University’s Board of Trustees voted last week to give the faculty at each of its campuses the right to adopt test-optional admissions.

Indiana operates campuses at Bloomington, IU East (in Richmond), Fort Wayne, Kokomo, IU Northwest (in Gary), South Bend and IU Southeast (in New Albany). IU also offers online programs and degrees through joint campuses with Purdue University in Indianapolis and Columbus.

The heads of the faculty senates at Bloomington and South Bend did not respond to questions about the new policy.
